Study Decimals

  • Nov 19, 2012 · 7:00 PM

I went ahead and set-up the next Monday meeting. I will lead the study group in decimals. We did fractions this past Monday. I think another meet-up will be scheduled for Weds. starting next Weds.

We came to the conclusion after the meeting that Mondays would be MATH days and Wednesdays would be VERBAL days, but it is not set in stone. It depends on what the organizer or who is leading the group has prepared.

Just a few notes from last meeting:
    1) I passed out some exercises last meeting. I will try and post the answers this weekend or later today if I am not too burned out. I am organizing a fundraiser this Friday. We will review the fraction exercise at the end of the meeting, so people who did not get the handout will not be left out.

    2) Instead of suggesting other days for a meet-up persons in this group can create your own Meet-up event.

    3) However, . . . if you our organizing a meetup, the organizer is responsible for leading the event or getting someone to lead the event.

Great idea! I love it! Now, I know to start studying decimals! Here are some great videos on Decimals... if you have time to watch them!
After the videos, you can also do some practice problems! See you guys on Monday!
