looking to meet other booklovers for good conversation and intellectual stimulation.
I majored in English, and my focus was on the "classics" of Brit Lit. I'm a big fan of Jane Austen, but also enjoy travel writing. I'd like to branch out through this club and read more recent fiction, creative non-fiction, and American authors!
In no particular order: Pride & Prejudice - Jane Austen Persuasion - Jane Austen The Bean Trees - Barbara Kingsolver The Robber Bride - Margaret Atwood March - Geraldine Brooks
Brave New World, War and Peace
This group has great discussions about wonderful literature (mostly contemporary). There is always a variety of opinions.
