Thirsty Thursday Game Night @ Rum Runners!

Well It's **Finally** here. The event I've been waiting for. YAY! Rum Runners and I have teamed up to bring you Thirsty Thursday Game Nights! Starting on January 31st, and for every other Thursday after (we rotate every other week), I will be bringing my massive board game collection to Rum Runners for your gaming enjoyment! Here are the details below:

What Can I Expect?
Thirsty Thursday Game Night will be taking place at Rum Runners in Downtown Raleigh starting at 7 PM. This event will be open to everyone - both singles and couples alike. When you arrive you will check in, give us a $1 board game fund donation and grab a goodie bag (and beads if you're single!) From there, you can opt to choose a board game from our "Board Game Library" or walk around and join a game in progress.

**NEWEST EDITION - BOARD GAME OF THE MONTH**

Munchkin is the mega-hit card game about dungeon adventure . . . with none of that stupid roleplaying stuff. You and your friends compete to kill monsters and grab magic items. And what magic items! Don the Horny Helmet and the Boots of Butt-Kicking. Wield the Staff of Napalm . . . or maybe the Chainsaw of Bloody Dismemberment. Start by slaughtering the Potted Plant and the Drooling Slime, and work your way up to the Plutonium Dragon.

Can I Bring My Own Board Game to Play?
Yes! In fact, the more games the merrier! Just make sure your board games are labeled with your name!

Does Rum Runners Serve Alcohol?
Duh, of course they do! In fact, on Thursday nights at Rum Runners - ALL DRINKS ARE $3. Yup, that's right. ALL DRINKS. Rum Runners does not serve food though, so be sure to grab a bite to eat before you head over! And please remember to drink responsibly!

Is this a Singles Event?
No, this is a social event that is open to everyone. Since there will be singles attending, Master Dater will be distributing Mardi Gras beads to all the singles in the room - just a fun way to meet fellow singles ;-)

**This event is open to all people - both singles and couples alike. It's purpose is to be a fun social event so you can meet new people and make new friends!**

I've never been to a MeetUp event and I'm very shy. I think I may actually come to one!

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
