An Afternoon of Boardgames!

Here is a great opportunity to make some new friends while enjoying boardgames at Toronto's most popular board game cafe.  Snakes and Lattes has been around for a couple of years now and is so popular that they do not take reservations anymore...

So when we arrive there we will be alotted tables to play on a first come first serve basis.  The cafe charges a $5 dollar fee which is reasonable considering that they have hundreds of different boardgames to play and it is always a fun experience.

Hope to see you out on this afternoon,

Jason (:

Since Snakes and Lattes fills up quickly then I will go there an hour before the event to try and secure a table... Could anyone else come in early as well since there are not any reservation allowed?

Depending on how this event goes... Then I can think about doing one at Castle as people are suggesting...

Yeah I was gonna be there early with Jeff. We so far planed on being there by 12 noon. But we can hold two tables only (one table per person to hold - I believe)

I'm going to have to back out as well, due to other commitments. However, I will agree that Castle (Spadina & College) is a much better venue. Unlike Snakes & Lattes, it doesn't fill up as quickly.

Was looking forward to it, but have to cancel as I'm going to a funeral that same day. Maybe next time. :(

My boyfriend and I are going to Snakes and Lattes regularly since it's our one of favourite place. BUT they don't take any RSVP and tables always are fully occupied - basically first come first seat......... One day we waited for hour and half to be seated. Per person it's $5 unlimited hours. Beverages are not that expensive and their white hot chocolate is alright. They do have amazing board game selections. Great and friendly staff.

There is a great korean restaurant called 'Ka Chi' just across street from Snakes and Lattes. Might be a good idea to hang out after board game!

Yup, that place has been recommended to me as well... Could possibly do an event there in the future also. Just will see how this one turns out first. Thanks for your suggestion (:

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
