I want to participate in knowledge sharing sessions, find good friends, start doing something for PHP community. I would like to become a speaker on PHP Conferences (I love sharing knowing) and I hope that making talks for a smaller group of people at the beginning would be best training for me.
I'm familiar with PHP Caching technologies (memcache, redis, APC, Xcache, Varnish). I thought about doing a presentation about 3 types of caching mechanism - 1st -> Opcode caching, - 2nd -> data caching, - 3nd - response caching. Additionally I love clean code and design patterns so I can introduce how to write php code properly (over 6yr OOP in php) so this is second area that I can perform well. Third option that comes to my mind is XDebug - Profiling and Debugging. This is a thing that is very useful but still PHP Devs think that it's impossible to do run-time debugging in PHP. Additionally I'm a fan of Mootools so I can try convince JQuery users to stop writing complex logic in JQuery and switch to "real OO" in JS. Moreover that I can talk about scaling PHP applications (my previous employer is using 1000+ php servers to deliver content). I'm not very familiar with developer needs here in Canada. But I'm open to any topics ideas.
I'm PHP Developer with 7yr experience in Web Applications Development. In Jan 2013 I moved to Canada, in Poland I was working in biggest Polish Social Networking portal (over 13mln daily unique users). At this moment I'm working in AlertDriving)
