I may be interested, although I'm more of a back-end guy. Ironically, I'm a temporary resident from the UK, so can't actually vote. However, I've had similar ideas in the past (inspired in part by a book by Greg Bear, where people's virtual avatars voted on every issue).
Where can I find further details? Does 'get involved' mean paid or unpaid? I'm happy with either, but obviously my available time is influenced by a need to pay the bills.

The project is called Next Parliament and is a digital platform intended
to serve as a real time benchmark of public opinion, for the media
and the press to use to confront MPs with respect
to the stance they take on any given issue. Essentially, Canadians can
come to our site, open an account and find a number of issues that they
can vote for or against; they also have the options of proposing any
issues that they would like to include.
We have put together a prototype for the site at www.trolldemocracy.com
but in order to get it press-ready, we really need the help of a proper
developer to bring it up to speed, if you are interested or know of
anyone who might be, please drop us a line, I'd love to talk further.
