After the success of our inaugural meet up, we're back again in September to talk more about iOS both technically and not so technically. Currently for the September meet up we've got a single speaker, Rob Goff, but we're looking for more! If you have a topic that you'd like to present on please shoot me an email (peterfoti [at] me [dot] com).

This month I was thinking we'd do two technical presentations of about 30 minutes in length, and then another 15-20 minute roundtable discussion like we did last time.

If you have any questions/comments/concerns, get in touch with me and we'll work it out.

Looking forward to seeing all of you in September!

To turn on the -werror compiler flag throughout an Xcode project:
    1) Open the Project Navigator panel.
    2) Select the project (typically the first item in the list).
    3) In the Editor view select the PROJECT item.
    4) Select the "Build Settings" tab.
    5) Scroll to the "Static Analyzer - Analysis Policy" section.
    6) Set "Analyze During 'Build'" to "Yes".
    7) Set "Mode of Analysis for 'Build'" to "Deep" (preferred) or "Shallow".

Link to Warnings-xcconfig repo on GitHub:
    https://github.com/boredzo/Warnings-xcconfig

"This is an xcconfig file to make it easy for you to turn on a large suite of useful warnings in your Xcode project. These warnings catch bugs, so turning them on may identify bugs you can fix now and having them on will prevent bugs later."

Just uploaded the "Debugging Tips" slide deck PDF, and the precompiled header file containing DLog and ALog. To download the files, hover over the "More" tab above, then select "Files".

To everyone that showed up last night, thanks for making it a great evening! Lots of great back-and-forth, and Pratik's presentation on HealthKit was aces!

Quick update, our location has changed. We're going to be using the Mobiquity office rather than the "training space". Its literally right across the street so finding it should be a non issue. If you have any questions, give me a call or shoot me an email.

We will be carving out a large chunk of time to talk about Tuesday's announcements. Guaranteed to be both entertaining and informative!

Dang it! I'm looking forward to joining this group, but my Thursday evenings are tied up through October. Will keep an eye out for the November meeting.

David, pick a short topic and let Peter know what you are going to talk about. Guaranteed to increase your chances for making November's meetup!

It's okay, Logan. I am your mentor so I will share the information with you when you get back.

It's okay, Logan. We know your code doesn't have bugs, and therefore don't need Xcode debugging tips.
