New Year's Eve in St Augustine

Join us for New Years Eve in St Augustine.  Stacy and I will arrive in St Augustine around 3:00.  We are planning dinner at 6:00 at the Sunset Grill across from the pear near St Augustine Beach.  Fireworks start at 8:30, then we will head back to the historic district for some bar hopping and general new years eve debauchery!

Tonja reserved a block of rooms at a discounted rate.

OK so I have 15 rooms blocked for us until Dec 26th. Rooms are $75/night.
Simply call and ask for one of the rooms help under the Gainesville Adventure Group. They have 2 double bed rooms and 1 king rooms. Let them know your preference. Checkin is at 3pm and check out 11am. There is not a continental breakfast. But there is a Denny's attached to the hotel. The hotel is a 10-15 min walk to historic downtown. Call early to get your room :)"

Hey Tonja, we should move the dinner reservation to 6:00. 6:30 will be cutting really close. I assume it will take at least an hour and a half for 30 people to get their food on New Year's Eve. Definitely don't show up at 7 and expect to have time to eat!

Do you still have rooms available at the discounted rate? If so, can I join you?

Ok, no worries I will still join you. :-) Are we meeting at the hotel and go to dinner together? Or just meet at the restaurant?

We'll meet at the hotel before going to dinner. I would recommend being to the hotel by 5pm. We'll likely be there a bit earlier. Call me at[masked] if you can't find us.

I know it is all last minute, but I am seriously considering joining you all for New Year's. I, too, am single and nervous about this adventure, especially because I know no-one. I don't want to feel like a 5th wheel. I know if I sit home alone, I will be extremely depressed.

I know how you feel. This group is filled with good people. There will be so many people there. We had a blast last year. Hope you decide to make the trip. :)

Hey Tonja, I love your name! I'm sure you hear that all the time. It's especially cool to me because my mom's name is Tonda and my aunt's name is Tanja. I look forward to meeting you :)

Happy Holidays Everyone ! As the new year approaches we have had several new folks say they will attend our NYs celebrations. It should be a great night :)
We made reservations at the resturant and need a quick last check on the numbers to make sure we have a seat for everyone. Please let us know by Wed 26th at MN if you will attend dinner and if you have a guest. You can post here or on FB if you have made both RSVPs. Thanks !

Okay we have reservations at 6:30pm at the Sunset Grille in St Augustine Beach. I will probably be there earlier to have a couple drinks. If you come at 7 that should still be fine. Please update me on the number going to dinner as soon as you know so I can update the restaurant. Can't wait to see you there!
The fireworks start at 8:30pm. Would anyone have trouble getting to the restaurant ( sunset Grille across from the pier)
