Job Interviews: How To Get Them And How To Make The Most Of Them

Success in interviewing is 90% preparation and 10% presentation. Interviews are the key event in your job search. You want to be sure you have thought that interview through before you walk in the door. 10 minutes early of course.

Celia Currin, career coach, explores the four strategic ways to land an interview --networking, direct mail, answering ads and working with recruiters.

In addition, learn how to prepare for the interview so you’ll put your best foot forward. Seating is on a first come, first seated basis unless otherwise noted.

Hi Kelly, I may be able to help but I would need a bit more context around your question. I'm planning to attend the presentation tomorrow. If you're there, perhaps we could speak afterwards.

Hi Chandra, Sorry for the delayed response. I plan on attending today's presentation. I would love to speak with you after. Please let me know if you plan on attending or when you'll have time to discuss.

Unfortunately, I was unable to attend today's presentation. Any key take away's or highlights anyone willing to share? My strategy has been targeting a few companies, and then leveraging LinkedIn to find any connections. I also used the Alumni section to see where people are working. I have had my resume forwarded twice in the past 24 hours because of these tactics. Maybe I will get an interview or two ;) Trying to stay positive here. Thanks!

Hi I'm Kelley. I'm a marketing professional who needs more experience in social media marketing and SEO. Any suggestions?

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
