Come join us at Christy’s for a fun afternoon watching the one or two of these four films (though open to suggestions) and join in on an ice cream extravaganza.

Winters Tale: One night in early 20th-century New York, master thief Peter Lake (Colin Farrell) breaks into a Central Park mansion -- and quickly has his heart stolen by its occupant, Beverly Penn (Jessica Brown Findlay). Unfortunately, their love is star-crossed; she is dying from consumption, and he is marked for death by his demonic former mentor, Pearly Soames (Russell Crowe). Peter battles the forces of time and darkness to save Beverly, even as Pearly does everything in his power to defeat Peter.

The Grand Budapest Hotel: In the 1930s, the Grand Budapest Hotel is a popular European ski resort, presided over by concierge Gustave H. (Ralph Fiennes). Zero, a junior lobby boy, becomes Gustave's friend and protege. Gustave prides himself on providing first-class service to the hotel's guests, including satisfying the sexual needs of the many elderly women who stay there. When one of Gustave's lovers dies mysteriously, Gustave finds himself the recipient of a priceless painting and the chief suspect in her murder.

Robocop: In 2028, OmniCorp is at the center of robot technology. While its drones have long been used by the military overseas, their use is forbidden in American law enforcement. However, OmniCorp gets a golden opportunity to crack that market when Detroit cop Alex Murphy (Joel Kinnaman) is critically injured in the line of duty. By transforming Murphy into a cyborg, OmniCorp executives hope to rake in billions for their shareholders, but they forget one thing: There's still a man inside the machine.

Her: A sensitive and soulful man earns a living by writing personal letters for other people. Left heartbroken after his marriage ends, Theodore (Joaquin Phoenix) becomes fascinated with a new operating system which reportedly develops into an intuitive and unique entity in its own right. He starts the program and meets "Samantha" (Scarlett Johansson), whose bright voice reveals a sensitive, playful personality. Though "friends" initially, the relationship soon deepens into love.

Icecream Extravaganza: Please bring one flavor of ice cream (gelato, Italian ice, and other variations of frozen goodness are welcome!) or one topping with you (fruits, candies, coconut, cookies...whatever makes you smile). Please let us know what you are bringing in the comments section so we don't have doubles. I'm sure a retreat into icey goodness will not be unwelcome! Come join us, we put on a good spread at these parties.

What a great idea! I've been drooling over recipes online and will try to bring some homemade sorbet! Also, please don't get any hopes up because I may just have to stop by the grocery store on the way! Also, I have no movie preferences, all those sound great!

I might not to be able to make it either. My boyfrIend's mom just came to town this weekend and since my boyfriend made an offer on a house we're looking at house - related things. So packing and whatnot will probably take up most of my day. ):

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
