Post Thanksgiving ride in Marin, Anyone?

Wanna burn off some calories after Turkey Day? I'm suggesting we meet at the north end of the GG Bridge (viewing area parking lot, Bay side). We can decide together on a long or shorter ride. Shorter option - to downtown Mill Valley and a stop for coffee at Peets or the Book Depot. Longer option around the Tiburon Peninsula loop. I live in Tiburon and would be happy to host a bathroom break if needed.

Just a reminder - Friday ride starting at the GG Bridge Viewing Plaza north side. 10a.m. Ride to Mill Valley and beyond (Tiburon loop depending on the mood/energy of the group). Happy Thanksgiving, Everyone. Hope to see you for the "day after" ride.

How will I be able to recognize all of you? I'll be the tall chick wearing black and purple riding the white and black Specialized Venge.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone and I'm looking forward to the ride tomorrow and making new cycling friends.

I don't think it will be much of a problem. But just to give you all some identifiers...I'll probably be wearing my green, white and black MCBC jersey and riding my black Calfee hybrid. See you tomorrow!

TBD. As I said in the original posting, we could ride down to Mill Valley and have a coffee before heading back. That would make for a 16 mile ride with the steady (but not overly difficult) climb up Alexander Avenue to the Bridge at the end. OR we could do a longer ride to include the Tiburon peninsula loop which would about double the ride. Rolling hills and a bit of a climb from Corte Madera back to Mill Valley. I don't know the strength of the group so thought we could decide when meeting.

Also, these routes give the option of splitting off in Mill Valley - some can turn around there while others go on to make the longer ride if that's what people want to do. I'm open to either. First ride could be 1-2 hours depending on length of stop. Probably give 3 for the longer ride if there are stops.

The Paradise Loop is so beautiful and if people are worried about the climb to Corte Madera you could just go down Blythdale and pick up the best part of the loop.

What's the level of difficulty of the ride and about how long?

Sounds like a perfect antidote to overeating the day before.
