Absolutely fantastic, great faces, great beer - really enjoyed the enthusiasm for the making of games along with some gamer talk to discuss the contrasting ideas many shipped games have employed. Good times, looking forward (as always) to the next one :)

Hi Mark, I remember the discussion. One of the sites I was referring to is this one: http://mocap.cs.cmu.edu/ - Note that this is raw mocap data (I believe), but I think it is still useful as it contains a huge amount of animations that can be used freely. I'll let you know if I come across others.
And everyone, that was an awesome evening. Thank you all for coming!

I don't think I really know about them, unless they are stored in the part of my brain reserved for when I'm induced by alcohol...But yeah, I would imagine it is a great recourse for trying out movable characters, but you will not end up with using it on anything you publish, as it won't find the right animations for your characters.Anyways yesterday was awesome and I'm looking forward to the next.
Hey guys, it was great to met you all, had a great evening... hope theres another one soon. I have one quickie question. I spoke to a few of you about character animation, and one of you (forgoton which.. possibly Martin, may have been Jarle???) mentioned freebie animation sites, I mentioned Id seen "Mixamo".. and the conversation shot off somewhere else... Cant you specify.. a site or 2, , so I can have a look? In the middle of getting my character working, could be handy right now! Cheers Mark
