Bring your prototype, or just your game design sense!
We'll meet in the Havana Room near the elevator on the 5th floor of the Cambridge Innovation Center -- give me a call at [masked] if you have any trouble getting in.

Excellent and even quieter, except for a space balls seance session two feet away... that was fun to watch. It's impossible to understand everything that happens at these gigs!
Still waiting for the refreshment cart and towelettes.

I'd like to add thanks to Harry Gao, who let Redbeard and I hammer on details of his RoboRace prototype, and to Harry for pounding RingStone™ while beating me solidly.

Bringing Find It & Bind It and at least one of its expansions. Hoping to get it nominated for the GMG Seal of Approval. :-)

Really enjoyed Find it and Bind it. Looking forward to see how it evolves.
Producers was great to play test and it is a really good exercise to blind play someone elses WIP game for anyone creating their own game.
Sorry for all the noise with Matcharade, but thanks for putting up with it! My hope is to bring it back and get the whole group to play it at the very start and spend 15 minutes max. on it.
Excellent playtest of Ore. The new artwork looks great and I felt like I was making difficult yet rewarding decisions (until I blew it at the end!).
I seem to have left my phone at the event last night...did anyone pick up an iPhone?
Either way, had a ton of fun getting my hands on a copy of Tymor, and playing/discussing the co-op variant
Good session. Only wish we had a little bit more time to get through some turns of Mech Deck, and maybe a short game of Circuit. I'm glad we could help Dan sort out the rules for Producer.
Watching/hearing Matcharades was highly entertaining! Loud, of course, but I think that's what these sessions are all about.

Match??? was a lot of fun!
Playtest of Robotariat went well. It's back from its hiatus and ready to show the world what its got. I wish I had entered it into BFIG...

Bringing RoboRace (new name needed!) 90 min, 2-4 players, medium weight action programming.
I think I'll bring Rise of the Robotariat.3-4 Players.60 minutes.
Flavor - You are a robot. Humans make too many demands on you and expect to get it for free. Well, it's time to rise up and show them you mean business.
Mechanics - As a group, try to get enough Spark to cause the rebellion, but only one person can be the true hero and anyone can become a traitor at any time. Move and activate spaces. Spend and gain Spark. NPCs move and encounter spaces of the board for benefits and detriments. Collect power-ups to help or impede the robot revolution.

I just made the playable prototype today of the most recent version.
I suspect it's very hard to be a traitor.

I'll be bringing Producer with a rules reboot for blind testing if there are players for it.
Bringing Mech Deck, Can't wait to get more feed back on it!
Hey Game Makers Guild!
Our company is producing a stealth RPG game for Unity. Currently, there's an opportunity for 2D animators. We're specifically looking for someone who has a clean art style. If interested, message me and we'll grab coffee.

Hi. I'm new to the group. Is the $2 paid at the door?
0 · July 2, 2014
Hi Andrew, welcome to the group and thanks for checking in. The $2 is indeed paid at the door. It's a suggested donation so anything ranging $0 to $[masked] goes :)
Why limit yourself at a mil? :D

This seems to be going a little bit in the wrong direction. No worries Andrew, you won't be held up at the door and the $2 is a voluntary donation.
