I just want to announce that we're playing indie RPGs at The Compleat Strategist tomorrow, Thursday, at 6:30pm. To RSVP check it out on the Tabletop Roleplay Society meetup group.

Likewise! I'm really excited about this group. Matcharades and Robotariat were both tons of fun, and the feedback I got on Vassals has given me lots of good ideas for improvements.

Thanks Marc, Neils, Jeff, and Jack for the thoughtful comments on Polyopoly. Its helpful to know that others have gone through the long process of development that I'm going through. Thanks all for being so welcoming. Neils, I enjoyed your game.

Thanks for trying out my game, Gene. You gave very good feedback. Your game and its packaging looked very professional, hope you get lots of sales.

Thanks to all for playing Matcharades! It was silly fun watching everyone. I got some good ideas from some folks on different ways to track matches and vary the cards a bit. Also played two excellent games: Cinqo (sp?) and Crash Survivor (forget the exact name). Nice to see so many new folks too.

I got great feedback on City Boss and enjoyed meeting new folks as well as exploring possible directions for Poliopoly.

Great feedback from the group I was in. I also got to play Vassals, which has a big potential and was fun. It just needs some more polish.

Bringing bioquest 3-4p, 60min. But put me at the bottom of the list since I don't mind just play testing today.

  • Jarom

I'm bringing Imperial Harvest (a prequel to Royal Strawberries). I was hoping for some blind playtesting. 2 players ~1 hr including feedback.

    September 22

  • Niels B.

I'm bringing City Boss my 3-4 player game. Playtime 1 hour.

    September 22

  • Aerjen

Bringing Leprechaun Slap 2 -5 players, 15 mins but might just want to hang out with everyone.

    September 22

  • David W.

I'm bringing Matcharades, plays up to 30 players very quickly (2-3 minutes per round). Hoping for a 15-minute slot (total) at the start to review rules, then play, then discuss with the whole group. Looking forward to playing other folks games too!

I'll be bringing one of two games (won't know until Sunday which).
    1. This Just In - 2-5 players - 60 minutes. A worker placement game about yellow journalism.
    2. Rise of the Robotariat - 3-4 players - 45 minutes. A move-and-activate game where you are robots rising against your human oppressors.

I'll have Mech Deck. Light skirmish game 2-6 players takes about an hour depending on player count.

    September 22

    • Patrick

Scratch that something came up. I won't be attending.

      September 22

  • Jessie C.

If I won't be able to be there until 8:15 or 8:30 will I still be able to play something?

    September 21

    • Niels B.

Hi Jessie, Yes, that will be fine. You may just need to wait a few minutes for games to open up.

      September 22

  • Nicolas G.

I'm bringing Vassals: 3-6 players, play time probably about an hour.

    September 21

  • Rory

I'll be bringing Circuit, my 2-3 player, 30 minute area control tile game that is close to high polish on the rules (and will need some intensive playtesting soon). But, I may bring the new Untitled game for 3-4 players where you must destroy your opponents and make food. That one should need about :60 to :90 including feedback.

Are there 2 versions of this 9/22 event?

    September 16

    • Eli K.

Yes there are, but no worries- both have correct information: CIC on Monday :)

      September 16

  • Steve

Wonderful meeting, my first! I'll bring a prototype of my boardgame Polyopoly next Monday: four players, maybe a hour. The game features two different paths of land and infrastructure development, a battle of society (three players) versus the monopolist (one). "An eco-socialist-vegetarian spin on an old American standard." Thanks all. Looking forward. Great group!

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
