IKRPG: Out of the Darkness (a homebrew campaign)

I'm getting an IKRPG campaign together. The start will be in the survival-horror vein and the story will build largely based on player actions.

If you'd like to play, I can help you generate a character before we start.

I'd love to have the following info about characters at least a few days before start:

1. Name, race, careers, physical description of character
2. Birthplace (Country and type of settlement, if not a city name)
3. Family information (estrangement, dead/alive status, sibling count, etc.)
4. Brief background (What’s the character doing in the world right now?) and driving motives (Why is the character doing what he/she is doing?)
5. Possible connections to PCs and NPCs

I have, in total, 14 players who have told me that they will be at the game either in person or through the meetup. At this point, I will need to split the group into two. I may have to see about either pulling in a second gm or running a second set of sessions. We'll see which works better for the whole group tomorrow.

The background info would still be appreciated if you can. It helps me to weave characters into the plot better.

How often are you planning on playing? How long do you envision this running ? What if I am interested but don't have any of the Iron Kingdom books ?

We're planning on running bi-weekly. Individual sessions should be 4 hours or so, but I'm not sure how long the campaign itself will run. However, I'm hoping to have it last at least to the summer. As far as the books go, I have a copy and am willing to share, as well as to help with rules/lore questions and character building.
