Which genre(s) of tabletop games do you typically play and/or design?

All kinds, though I do tend to tire of the shorter-play games quickly, unless there's a good amount of depth/strategy that provides replayability (a la 7 Wonders). Bang! is a good example, too

List your 3 favorite games.

7 Wonders and Bang! as above. Also, I've enjoyed the Game of Thrones board game, since I love the book/TV series, and enjoy the backstabbing dynamic.

What is your experience with Game Design, if any?

It's all amateur - I really enjoy designing games, but have not published/released any of them. Thus far it's mostly been confined to developing game mechanics.

What aspect(s) of Board Game development interest you most? (ideas, prototyping, playtesting, publishing, manufacturing, etc)

The ideas behind them are the most interesting to me. That is to say, making interesting game mechanics and rules that are simple to understand, and don't bog the game down.

What are you expecting/hoping to get out of this group?

I'm hoping to pick people's brains for some awesome ideas, help people put together their own games, and eventually get the game ideas I have into playable and even enjoyable shape!
