Quake! Being able to see how video games have evolved a technical level over the past 20 years has been awesome. Quake / Quakeworld amazed me from a graphical standpoint, its multiplayer capabilities, and what it brought forth as a result (Quake 2, Half-Life, Sin, <cough>Daikatana</cough>, etc.)
Curiosity, enthusiasm, and possibly a space for people to gather, communicate, and create!
A better understanding of what it takes to build a game. The ability to carry forth that information into the world of education. Like many others, I feel gaming can play a wonderful role in helping people get excited about art, math, science, technology, etc.
I really, really, really like bananas.
I've been working down at Digital Ops & All Hands Active for ages, and am interested in finding ways to build a more creative gaming community anywhere/everywhere!
Wonderful meetup with a lot of great people. Have a much better understanding of the Rift, and it was great fun scanning everyone with the Kinect! Can't wait to see what people create .
