Leaving March Behind

Hey everyone,

We invite you all to come over on Sunday, March 30, at 2:00 for an afternoon of games. We can enjoy chomping on some snacks while we mix and mingle and anyone can start playing when they are ready. It's a great way to get out and meet with friends old and new.

Games are generally non-competitive and light hearted. One or two may require a bit of a learning curve but most are just easy breezy, making this day all about kicking back and having fun! There will be multiple areas to play in so we won't be at a loss for variety of games to choose from.

Bring a snack and please remember to put a $ or 2 per person in the jar (this is most helpful). Don't forget to RSVP for yourself and anyone else you might bring.

See you soon!

Hey everyone sorry I'm late posting the recipe Filling Ingredients

1 pound - ground chicken or turkey

    1 cup - chopped mushroom

3/4 cup - chopped yellow onion

1/4 cup - sliced green onion

1 small - can of water chestnuts (chop them up)

    1/2 tablespoon - garlic powder

    1/2 tablespoon - onion powder

1 salt & pepper to taste

    1/2 cup - soy sauce

    1/4 cup - water

    3 tablespoon - corn starch

    tablespoon & 2 teaspoon - ginger powder

1 Use a large skillet to brown the ground chicken. Add salt, pepper, onion powder, and garlic powder. When it is almost done, add chopped yellow onion and chopped mushrooms. Turn to medium heat, cover with a lid for 3-4 minutes. Make the sauce during this time.

2 Mix the sauce ingredients together in a bowl stirring well. Make sure there are no lumps.

3 Add sauce to the ground meat and veggies, stirring well. The sauce is not only the flavor, but thickens it to help stick together.

4 Add chopped water chestnuts and sliced green onion

Luke and I had a great afternoon. He enjoys the games that make you think, while I enjoy the more animated ones. Fun time as always!

We had a great time everyone! It was fun pulling out games we haven't played in a while. The laughter was hardy, the food superb (homemade creme brûlée fresh Asagio spread, lettuce wraps....? Cool!) and we played into the dark of the night! Thanks, everyone, for such a great time!
