I found this in the war of the dead book talking about character creation and thought I would add it here , good food for thought. "SO, WHO ARE YOU?
The next question is: Who are you, exactly? As
you assign dice to the character sheet, choose a
background concept for the character, and start to see
things take shape on paper; the main question of who
the character is must still be answered. Where does he
come from? What family does he have? What friends?
Enemies? What’s his favorite food, television show,
video game, or book? What dreams and goals does he
have? Is he violent? Violent only if angered? A pacifist?
Take a moment (or several) and think about the
personality of your character. If you haven’t assigned
dice to Attributes and Skills yet, or chosen your Edges
and Hindrances, answering some questions about
your character’s personality and background might
help point out certain Skills, Edges, or Hindrances he

feel free to email me with any character concepts.

Savage worlds test drive rules ( not the full rulebook, and there are some minor changes to the deluxe rulebook, which I will be using in the game)

War of the dead players introduction

Most of all have fun with it, characters are easy! just come with a basic concept and I can help make it into a great character!

Here are some links to get some character generating ideas going can make a character, bring it and we can polish it at the game

    2. you can come and make a character on the spot, 3. you can use a pre-generated character, as is or tweak it a bit.

The players introduction also give some ideas on some possible character concepts

Character creation is easy. Just think of a concept of a normal everyday person that you would like to play. The story will be about normal people in extraordinary circumstances. You could be a reporter who is trying to get the scoop on a new story, you could be a military person who's trying to make mends with his family. you could be a pizza delivery guy who just couldn't get a break. how about a doctor or physician who works too many hours and who's had a major falling out with friends and relatives. you could be a student, a taxi driver, a sales person, a comedian, and mechanic....on and on. you could also make yourself as a character in the game if you wanted to.

WAR of THE DEAD is on! Your characters personal journey during a ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE! Think Night of the living dead, The Walking dead, and World War Z all wrapped into one mashup. War of the dead uses the Savage worlds rules system, with a few minor modifications. Character creation is easy! Normal everyday people will have to make choices and it will be interesting where your character arc goes. I will be posting information on how to make characters ( we have two so far) and more information about the game in the next week. Let me know if you have any questions! see you on Tuesday.
