That Adventures game was pretty good. Nice easy learning curve. Fast paced & all the directions were right on the cards. It will make a nice distraction if someone can not make it 1 night for the regular D&D game.
    BTW
I forgot to ask. Do we want to see if we can get 1 or 2 more players into the D&D next game. I always felt 5-6 players (+DM) made for a well rounded group. What does everyone else think?

Hey Tom - do you have someone specific in mind?

I wish I did. We had some decent players in the past. . Not sure what happened to Patrick. I think he moved to central NJ. Vern is running some other ( i think hero ) game. Jean Phillip has a scheduling conflict with Wednesdays. Who else did we have at any of the games that was not a waste of table space? Maybe list it on the meetup site that we could fit 1-2 more people into the game. All except the guy there 4 weeks ago. SCAREY ....even by our standards

I read through a good portion of the rules last night, personally i'm still on board from starting from level 1, and just progressing from there. Establishing characters and building them as they level, we never got that true progression.

Talk more about it when we are all together i guess.

I think I got the Druid modified to the latest rules. I probably fudged a few things. I assume we are going to take at least 1 hour to go over the changes & see how the rule changes affect anything previously we took for granted.
BTW... I like the new triceratops for the Druid at 10th level. Ya think the boat can hold that much weight?

I have been reading the last version. Not too bad of a change.

I was underwhelmed by the Bard, for example.

    • Mark S.

      Probably a little of both.

I started working on revising my Druid character. It is getting confusing on what we keep & what gets nixed to the new rule modifications? How do we handle the changes? They took out specialties completely. Did you guys mention we would be re-doing the characters at next game or we needed to re-do them before the next game? Let me know. BTW. I am going out to Ohio Monday & Tuesday ( 3-10&[masked]) for work. I should be back for the game on Wednesday. If not I will try to post it here.

Hey Tom - I reworked Raynor and Asheron, and am starting on Rongo. I am working totally from the 10/14 rules, and am trying to stay as close to their concepts as I can. We can definitely spend part of Wednesday discussing the characters and making rulings on any discrepancies we find.

Background & skills shows the background & lists the skills each gets but... It is not clear what the skill covers. Or is it a general catch all?

    • Mark S.

What each skill covers is outlined in the How To Play document.
