Pathfinder Society Organized play

Greetings All,

This is an organized Pathfinder Society meetup that will repeat every two weeks. We have completed the intro series and most of year "0" , year "1" and year "2" of the low level scenarios.  I will try and finish the low level scenario for year "3" before moving onto year "5". We have been having a good turnout with a range of character level;thus, we have needed a second table. We will try and have a second table from now on. About one week before the game I will post the specific scenario that I will be running. New players are always welcomed.

Richard Lighthiser, VL Northern N.J.

Yes and no depending on your view of things... First your craft skill allows you to do an end of event day job check (free extra money depending on you roll) two depending on the craft skill and gm discretion based off type of craft and GM's ruling you may be able to make a roll on something (ambiguous due to each gm is different here. Some yes some no but GM's are fickle creatures.) Finally you can use it for your own character development and story (yes I know this sounds weird but not all people play metas sheep) So in closing if you are looking to get more out of the points then a day job check, maybe a possible knowledge roll and story line then yes they are wasted.

Cool, I want to keep the skill because in my mind it rounds out the character, when I first learned archery many moons ago, it was required that you learn a lot about the bow and it's construction. We were also taught about repairing our own fletching. Thank for taking the time to help me with this Steve. I hope to see you on the 22cd.

Thank you Rich for inviting me to Play. This was my 1st ever Pathfinder game, and even though my character had a terrible time (Bad dice rolls) and I am very new and am learning the combat system everyone was very nice and patient with me. I had a really great time, and I learned a lot. So I just want to say thank you to Jean Philippe, Craig, James, Steven, my tutor John and my fellow newbie Mike the Cleric. And a very special shout out and thank you to our patient and energetic GM Henry. I hope to see all of you in two weeks.

And second, for levels 5 to 9, 2-06: The Heresy of Man—Part I: The First Heresy, "let no man be beholden to a god." While this has led to relative peace without religious strife, it has left the nation devoid of divine healing and magical methods to provide succor to those ravaged by disease or injury. When a new and mysterious plague begins ravaging the coastal villages of Rahadoum, you are sent by the Pathfinder Society to escort a cleric of Sarenrae into the heart of the plague in order to protect a secret Pathfinder research project.

    See you at the game

    Hi All,

This Monday we have two scenarios available. First, for levels 1 to 5, 2-15: Shades of Ice—Part I: Written in Blood: When the Decemvirate sends the PCs to the Viking city of Trollheim in the frigid northern Lands of the Linnorm Kings to deliver a package to an allied scholar there, the Pathfinders soon find themselves unwelcome visitors. Forced to navigate the rugged, isolated city and interact with the standoffish natives, can they deliver their cargo to its target, or will they find themselves exiled from the city... or worse?

    See you at the game,

    Rick

Whats the scenario for this monday?

I have extensive RP experience, however I have never played Pathfinder but I am interested in learning how the Pathfinder Society system works. Are you interested in having a curious and quiet spectator?

I have found that the best way to understand a game is to play it. Come on down and try the game using a pre-generated character. If you and the game don't fit, no problem, if you do like it we can go from there and get you set up.

The Bearded Dragon worked out well our first try there so it looks like it might be our home for a while. Any other comments about the place?

I thought it was a quite excellent shoppe.

Great, except for the acoustics, which make it difficult to hear what people in our group are saying.
