The Garden State Track Club (GSTC) is a non-profit organization that aims to serve all levels of runners in New Jersey. We offers individualized coaching plans for all runners, from beginners to elite athletes, and meet regularly for training runs and participate as a cohesive team in many races. Our team stresses the idea of "team," in that we have groups that meet daily for runs or workouts. If you meetup with us, you will be welcomed to run with new friends and reach your goals.
In addition to being part of the team, any runner has the opportunity to be part of one of the special training groups: Marathon/ Half Marathon Group, Mile-10k Distance Group, Couch to 5k Group, Sprints/Jumps/Hurdles, Throws, Rutgers Group, and Elite Group.
As a state-wide organization that promotes running in all parts of New Jersey, group runs, workouts, and social events happen both in the regional and Statewide level.
GSTC Headquarters - New Brunswick. This is also where many team meetings, team races, and team runs happen. The tow path, Six Mile Reservation, and Johnson Park are group favorites.
GSTC North Enclave - based in Saddle Brook; includes track workouts and team runs mostly at Garrett Mountain and Saddle River Park.
GSTC Beach Enclave - Mercer, Monmouth, and Ocean counties; runs on the boardwalk and often at Holmdel and Manasquan Reservoir.
GSTC South Encave - Camden County and greater Philadelphia; Wissahickon Trail is a favorite, along with numerous other trail runs along the river.

The GSTC's goal is to provide direction for competitive runners of all levels, and to foster the future of New Jersey running by providing support to underprivileged young runners throughout the state. To these ends, we will develop structured training and meaningful race schedules for our members in all running venues: roads, cross-country, and track. Our fundraising efforts will enable us to provide guidance, equipment, and financial assistance to young runners in need. See also: http://www.gardenstatetc.org/
