FREE CLASS: How to Grow & Clone Goji Berry - Sat 3/09 12:30 PM @ The Garden Pool

  • March 9 · 12:30 PM
  • This location is shown only to members

Join us at the Garden Pool for this highly anticipated FREE class about the Goji Berry plant (Lycium barbarum or wolfberry).

We have been enjoying growing and eating goji berries at the Garden Pool in both the ground and patio containers for a few years and we think anyone can grow it. It is a self-fertile plant, easy to propagate, and can be grown in hot or cold climates!

Goji berries are renowned as a super food high in antioxidants and nutritional density. In the landscape they can grow to about 8 feet tall and wide, but are mainly hedged or grown on trellis. Outdoor grown in USDA plant hardiness zones 4b to 9b.

The Goji class will focus on three parts:

  1. How to grow Goji from seed to berry
  2. How to clone with cuttings
  3. Nutritional properties of Goji

This class will be taught by Danielle of Garden Pool and will be about 45 minutes in length. Expect class handouts and a Goji berry snack.

We will have plenty of mature and fully rooted 12"-24" Goji cuttings (ready to plant or pot-up) and packs of 50 Goji seeds available for those who want to start growing their own Goji plants! We ask for a donation of $15 for the plants and $10 for the seeds.

This is a FREE class, but any donation is appreciated. Please RSVP to attend as space is limited!

Please do not SPAM this group with 3rd party groups, products, or businesses.
