NEW Garden Pool in Glendale Tour - Sunday 1/13 Noon in Glendale, AZ

Join us in Glendale, AZ (near Camelback and 79th Ave) to visit a beautiful and sustainable backyard aquaponic greenhouse designed by Dennis of Garden Pool and built with help of the volunteer members of this meetup in the middle of the Arizona summer!

This is new Garden Pool system is special for several reasons:

  • Was built using 90% recycled materials
  • Was constructed with 100% GP Volunteers
  • This GP system does not use a swimming pool. It uses a small tilapia pond instead
  • Has over 200 feet of aquaponic garden rows
  • Uses vertical space in an incredibly efficient way
  • The pond is filled with recycled laundry water

The home also has many full size mature fruit trees and is an amazing showcase of sustainable backyard food production at it's finest!

We will break up in to smaller groups to explore the backyard to better learn about what makes this exciting new system work. We ask for a $5 donation for this inaugural tour.

This is a one of a kind design and home to an amazing family that took the plunge in to building their very own Garden Pool in Glendale!

    I live in HOA. I don't think im aloud to have chickens. Our next step is moving. We are thinking of owner will carry loan type home. We are going to need a permanent place to start our new lifestyle. If anyone knows of a home in the far west or Northwest, we are very interested. Thanks, dj
