FREE CLASS: How to Grow & Cook Bananas! - Saturday 1/26 3 PM @ The Garden Pool

  • January 26 · 3:00 PM
  • This location is shown only to members

Join us at the Garden Pool for this special FREE class about the amazing Banana plant.

We have three types of Bananas growing at the Garden Pool. It is a tropical plant and can be grown with grey water!

Banana plants are easy to grow and adapt well to many climates. They can be grown in sun or partial shade, container grown on a patio or green house, and even indoors by a sunny warm window. In the landscape they can grow to about 12-14 feet tall. Outdoor in zone 7 or higher (depending on variety).

The Banana class will focus on three parts:

  1. How to grow a Banana to harvest
  2. How to cook with Banana plant
  3. Nutritional properties of Banana plant

This class will be taught by both Dennis and Alex.

We will have plenty of organically grown Banana plants and available for those who want to start growing their own Banana plants!

This is a FREE class, but please RSVP to attend as space is limited!

Please do not SPAM this group with 3rd party groups, products, or businesses.

Alex is very knowledgeable on how to grow bananas. Who would have known these plants would so readily grow in the desert! He so inspired us that we purchased two varieties

Hi, I live in Tucson and I was looking for a curry leaf plant. If you have any, I would like to visit on Sat 12 Jan since I am going to be in Pheonix that day. Thank you. Josephine
