Testing from a Developer's Perspective

Presented by Richard Rodrigues of Perficient

Sometimes developers view testing as the QA team’s responsibility. This has a number of negative effects on the software being developed. In this talk, Richard will go over reasons developers have an important role to play in the overall test strategy. We will look at test automation, return on investment, and why teams tend to spend more effort on tests that do not have the best return on investment.

Richard Rodrigues is a software developer working with Java for 12 years. He has worked in the St. Louis area since 2004. He spent three years in a "developer testing"/Test Engineering role, helping teams improve testing with automation.
