We are hosting a budding professional beekeeper in Ottawa who will soon be working with Just Food ready to show people how a beehive can be constructed. We are also going to assemble beehives. For the exchange, he's going to do an intro to beekeeping! If you want to get some great ideas on this fascinating science, come on out.
Tools required: The only tools involved would be hammers, nails, staple gun, scissors. If someone has a hydraulic staple gun, all the better!
The GSMakerspace has only a few hammers and a staple gun, scissors (but no hydraulic staple gun)!
"Update - after receiving and inspecting the products, I've decided to go with screws vs nails. That being said, there will be no need for hammers. The following items could be of help. Bring what you can.
* 1-2 drills and/or impact drills (for screws and drilling pilot holes) 508 holes/screws to be exact.
* 2-4 rubber mallets
* 4-8 standard staple guns. (I supply staples)
* 4-8 blue permanent markers (pens will do)
If there is a belt sander of sorts available, it would be awesome."
