Hi, Barbara. Thanks for sharing your concern with me. I understand your frustration. This has come up before. We've discussed on & offline & the organizers have decided the waitlist maintains the intimacy of the meetups & keeps members' RSVPs current. Meetups are first come first serve, but we find most people make it in as people cancel. ("Wild" is esp. popular.) I'll broach the subject of more than one meeting with my co-organizers, but I'm not sure if we have the capacity or not. Best, Brenda
