I decided to start this group to promote friendships between gay men age 50+.   So much changes during that decade. Some of us have stable and loving relationships. Some of us are alone and seeking new caring and supportive friendships. In any case the purpose of this group is to promote caring, supportive, loving friendships between gay men living either in partnerships or alone and dealing with this fast paced world in which we now live. Meetups can be very casual and as members join I hope they will reach out to each other just to meet for coffee, a drink, or to go to a movie or shopping...just to take a walk and talk....anything at all. If anyone has any ideas for group meetups please feel free to submit an idea. I've looked around a lot at how people deal with age and community and I think it's time that we as gay men help each other create valuable communities full of friendship and comfort.
