Come join us for a wonderful summer veggie picnic in Kensington Gardens, one of the nicest parks in London. If austerity Britain is affecting your social life, then join us for what should be a cheap and fun day out! Please try to bring vegan food and drink to share, so that everyone can eat the food.
If nearer the time the weather looks like it may rain etc, then we will go to Tibits which is off Regents Street, near Piccadilly Circus. Tibits is a large and very modern veggie restaurant and bar that does a tasty veggie & vegan buffet - http://www.tibits.co.uk/e/restaurants-take-away/heddon-street/. Check the comments below nearer the time to see what happens.
This event is for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Asexual (LGBTQA) and gay friendly veggies, vegans and raw foodies etc. Everyone welcome as long as you are gay and veggie friendly.
We'll initially be meeting outside the park at Lancaster Gate tube station at 14.00 and then walk to the park. We'll decide nearer the time where in the park we'll have the picnic.
Hope to see you there!
UPDATE 13/07/2013: It looks like it will be warm and sunny on Sunday so we'll go somewhere where there's a bit of shade. The park will probably be quite busy so we'll see when we get in there where the best space is. I have some ideas! Here's a map to the park - http://www.royalparks.org.uk/__documents/park_maps/kensingtongardens_english_map.pdf
