Who knew Brooklyn had their very own winery and it's set in the heart of Williamsburg.
Join us as GW takes a tour of B r o o k l y n W i n e r y !
We will meet at the Winery at 1:40 pm on Saturday February 16th. From there we will take a FREE tour of the winery at 2:00 pm. Since it is free and first come first serve, we'll want to get there early enough should there be a line. After the tour we’ll gather in the wine bar for some food, wine, and comradery. They sell wine by the glass, half-carafe, and bottle. You can find their full menu on the website.
A little about the Winery:
“At Brooklyn Winery, we’re committed to making small batch artisanal wines for your enjoyment. Winemaker Conor McCormack’s style is based on a traditional “hands off” approach while incorporating modern techniques to ensure the best results possible; the idea is to let the fruit speak for itself with minimal interference. Conor strives to showcase different styles of wine—whether elegant and earthy or big and fruity—but always lets the fruit guide him throughout the winemaking process so that the end result embodies a real sense of place. Conor and his winemaking team put a tremendous amount of passion and skill into creating Brooklyn Winery wines—and it shows.”
