If you want a folding chair space, arrive by 5:30pm. This end of summer free outdoor jazz performance includes acclaimed jazz vocalist Donatelli. Wine and appetizers are available for purchase.
Joined by pianist and producer Geoffrey Keezer, Grammy nominated vocalist Denise Donatelli returns to LACMA following the release of her Grammy Award nominated recording Soul Shadows. Her 2010 release When Lights are Low received two nominations, one for Best Jazz Vocal Album and another for Best Arrangement Accompanying a Vocalist for Keezer’s arrangement of "Don't Explain.” Donatelli’s busy touring career has taken her across the country and around the world at major clubs and festivals.
Small picnic coolers are supposedly allowed--but alcoholic beverages can ONLY be purchased--not brought. FYI--the museum is also open late until 11pm.
