It depends on what food I am pairing with the wine. Also the season, the weather, my mood, the company, my surroundings, etc.
Bit specialized, but I really like Banyuls from Langue d'Oc. Really goes well with Souffle de Chocolat or other chocolates for that matter. Also starting to appreciate a good Barolo DOCG. I especially like Mario Gagliasso's Roche dell'Annunziata.
Depends on what my mood is and how extravagant I feel that day
Wine House, Trader Joe's, Vendome, (Have yet to do to the Liquor Store in Silver Lake for their wine tastings....supposed to be fun.) Nose Wine Bar in Pasadena (RIP)
Hi, we met at Wm. O'Neill's when he kindly hosted the dinner for the B&B's last March. We talked about wine.... Congratulations on creating a group with so many members. I'm sure your charisma had something to do with it.
Gay Winos: Great group of guys who are cordial, down-to-earth, and have aged like some fine Chateau Lafite Rothschild/Romanee Conti.
