Rainbow Skate
Wednesday Night is a Roller Skating Session hosted primarily, but not exclusively, for the Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender Communities. This session began about fourteen years ago and was held at the San Mateo Rolladium every Wednesday Night until The Rolladium closed in 2001. Rainbow Skate then moved to the Redwood Roller Rink in Redwood City! Check out- www.rainbowskate.net
Rainbow Skate is held every Wednesday evening, from 8:00 until 10:30 at the Redwood Roller Rink. Admission is $9 (which includes rollerskate rental or add $5 for inline skates). Feel free to bring your own skates, cost is still the same.
Retro Night -The first Wednesday of every months is "70's and 80's night," complete with disco music, 80's dance, and all the songs you'll never forget.
Underwear Night - The last Wednesday of every month is Underwear Night. Pull out your showiest, fanciest, flashiest or tightest underwear and come show them off! (This is mostly boys, still fun but be ready for silver lame underwear....
