Why: Meetup.com charges the organizer (me) for the site monthly.
A group primarily for gay men and women, but open to any "gay friendly" single who wants to participate and be active in the group.
A group that will have "outings" of various types, everything from trips to the High, to shows at the Fox, to the various clubs here in Midtown, book readings, special events, trips to restaurants and even just walks at the park.
I expect most if not all outings to be in the 30308 and 30309 zip codes which is basically Midtown Atlanta, but at times we will venture further, but always supporting public transportation, i.e. being on the Marta system.
A place to meet new friends, network, and have people to "hang out" with!
No drama, just fun and companionship!
*note you can certainly join if you don't live in Midtown, but note that activities will most likely be in the zip codes mentioned above. Being single is encouraged, no offense meant to others.

Want to see a movie and have a nice low cost meal? This would be the Meetup for you then (me too). We will meet about 15 minutes before the movie starts, grab a table and settle in to watch "Another Gay Movie". I haven't yet checked out any of the Google sites to see what it's about, but I have heard of it before and remember being told that its VERY funny! Read more

Your organizer's refund policy for Gay singles in Atlanta
Your organizer will refund you if:
- Your organizer closes their Meetup Group
- Refunds only given if I close the Meetup group. Note that you just pay your membership dues WITHIN 10 days of your having joined or BEFORE attending your first Meetup with us, whichever is sooner. (effective 11/13/2009)
