Event: Simulcast From the Metropolitan Opera: Borodin's Prince Igor
NOTE: LOCATION AND STARTING TIME CHANGE
For anybody who likes opera or is curious about it, let's meet up for the broadcast of the Metropolitan Opera's production of Borodin's rarely-seen masterpiece, Prince Igor at the Century San Francisco Centre 9 and XD on Wednesday, March 5. The performance starts at 6:30, but let's meet in the lobby between 6:00 and 6:10 so we can find seats together.
Cost: Tickets are $22 for the performance, and ARE HIGHLY SUGGESTED TO BE PURCHASED IN ADVANCE. It would suck if a person showed up and couldn't get in. Visit the Century San Francisco Centre 9 to buy tickets in advance.
There is also a Group Support Fee of $1.00 to maintain this meetup group.
The theatre is about a block from the Powell Street stations.
Once we identify a group of guys who like opera, we can plan other events, including attending live performances, and hang out together before or afterward.
Here's a link to the Met's website for Prince Igor.
Hope to see you there!
