But we will take walking tours and hikes around DC, both historic and artsy urban areas, as well as natural and landscaped parks and gardens. Along the way, the more experienced among us can provide guidance about great photo ops, including lighting and composing and selecting settings from aperture and f-stops.

Do you love to take photos on vacation and at special events to share on Facebook and Twitter? But end up with 600 photos too many, guaranteed to bore your friends? We'll discuss how to edit photos down to the top gallery shots, crop and edit with software, and post just the best shots possible.

And best of all, you'll get to meet others in our community with similar interests!  You can use any camera, from your iPhone to a point-and-shoot to a digital SLR!  And everyone is welcome, whether you are a novice beginner or expert professional, and everyone in between.
