Day Trip to Santa Barbara on the Amtrak Train

Join us for a relaxing day trip on the Amtrak train to Santa Barbara, a beautiful town with whitewashed walls, red tile roofs, gentle slopes, rolling waves, swaying fronds, stately churches and private estates. The train is comfortable and  a great way to meet and get to know the members of our group.

If you have any friends that live in Santa Barbara please invite them to meet us at the train station in Santa Barbara when we arrive. It's always fun to meet people who live in the area.

We can try some food there for lunch at the Garden of Eatin'. Check out the festival's website for details at

After visiting the festival there are several options for the rest of the afternoon. You can stay at the food festival and participate in their related activities. You can also visit State Street which is the main street with everything from boutiques, galleries, bars, and of course, La Arcada, a prosperous retail space that dates back to the 1920's.
