Bicycle Ride in Santa Barbara (We're going to Santa Barbara on the Amtrak Train)

Join us for a day trip in Santa Barbara!

We're going to Santa Barbara on the Amtrak train. The train ride is comfortable and a great way to meet and get to know the members of our group.

When we get to Santa Barbara we'll be riding the 22.4 mile Santa Barbara Streets & Paths Bicycle Route after lunch.  This bike ride is great for riders who can bike 22.4 miles roundtrip on mostly flat terrain at a speed of 12 to 14 miles per hour.

Santa Barbara is a beautiful town with whitewashed walls, red tile roofs, gentle slopes, rolling waves, swaying fronds, stately churches and private estates.

If you have any friends that live in Santa Barbara please invite them to join us at the train station in Santa Barbara when we arrive. It's always fun to meet people who live in the area.

This was an excellent trip! Bike riding in Santa Barbara had spectacular views of the mountains and oceans. We had a great group of 10 people originally on the bike ride. Want to do this trip again?
