Wesak is the celebration of the birth, life and death of the Buddha. In the esoteric ceremony, the Buddha and the Christ meet in a hidden valley in the Himalayas and pour out the blessings for the year on the whole planet.
We will chant Om Mani Padme Hum from 3 to 9 pm. We will perform a Satyanarayana Puja at 6 pm, and do other mantras. At the end of the day, we will distribute the water in the crystal bowl which has been chanted over all day.
Please feel free to come when you can and leave when you must during the day.
Please bring soft beverages and veggie snacks to share during the day. We will also have hot soup available all day.
