Hi Geeks -- I have an amazing opportunity for 5 San Diego-based fast action-takers...I am a student of Loral Langmeier's, and she is doing her 3 Days to Cash seminar in San Diego 7/25-27. The cool and unique thing about this event is that EVERYONE who comes makes money right in the room (don't ask me how, it's a surprise...but it has to do with learning to sell what you do :-) I have 5 FREE tickets to this -- it retails for up to $2400 (this is for real, I paid $1500 for this last January). First 5 people to contact me and say you want in gets a free ticket, no strings attached.

Who won the sharkette tanks? Any place to see summary (or video) of each of presenters?

This is my first Geek Girl meetup, and I had a great time. I got a lot out of the workshops I attended, made lots of new connections, and found many new resources for learning and business. Also, it was really fun! It was inspiring to see so many women from different backgrounds and industries, and all different ages, coming together to share education and experience. I'm motivated to start learning new technology-related skills on my own now as well, and have gained some great new resources to achieve that. Thanks, Leslie- you're pretty awesome!

I'll be bringing my daughter next year. She's younger than 10yo, but it's never too early to get girls into the tech field. In anticipation of next year's Geek Girl Tech Conference, 2014!

Hi folks! We would love as much noise out there as possible for the event! Facebook, Tweet, email, Google+, LinkedIn, etc. Use #GeekGirlTechCon - and #SanDiego also if you want. Use the following short URL - http://bit.ly/12Gkou7

Let people know you are coming. If you are not able to go, let others know. This is an incredible conference for supporting women in tech. And we need your help to make history! Remember: there is a discount code for this meetup group on here and you can save 20% off your $169 ticket! No excuses!

Workshops a-plenty from Beg to Advanced, Startup resources, Help Desk, Panels on Crowdfunding and Sharkette Tank pitches, as well as several of our sponsors and partners ARE HIRING! If you are looking for a job, in tech and some not in tech, come and network.

Let's support women in tech and support San Diego women in tech specifically!

    Thanks-
    Les

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
