Geek Girls Carrots Seattle #4

Geek Girls Carrots is a community for women interested in tech and startups. We bring together female developers, programmers, admins, analysts, application architects, graphic designers, IT managers, social media specialists, system architects, women with ideas for start-ups, computer science students, and anyone starting their adventure with technology.

Our group is designed for women with passion, and hunger for knowledge. If this describes you, join us Wednesday, April 23th to learn, share, teach and meet new people!

7:00 pm - Welcome and Geek Girls Introduction by the  Organizers Kamila Stepniowska & Sanda Htyte

7:10 pm - “Pitching time” - one minute for your idea!*

7:15 pm - Nathalie Steinmetz (Python)

7:45 pm - Sandra Lloyd (UX)

8:15 pm - Networking

9:00 pm - Dinner @Brouwer’s Cafe (400 N 35th St
Seattle, WA 98103)

* If you have an idea to start a project, you would like to share an  idea you are excited about, or share a project problem you would like to solve – “pitching time” is the moment when you can do that! Just send us ([masked]) one slide presentation about it. We will send you some useful tips how to prepare for a pitch and we will give one minute to present it during pitching time.

See you there!

The purpose is to bring together developers from different communities (PHP, Ruby, etc) and different parts of Seattle to get to know one another and celebrate the end of another week of changing the world through code.
