I will be hosting board games at my place from 5pm until we feel like stopping (or 11pm, whichever comes first). Bring your own favorites and some snacks/real food if you are so inclined. If you do decide to bring anything, please post it in the comments.

Here is the list of games I own and can teach.
7 Wonders, Archipelago, Bananagrams, Blokus, Carcassonne, Cards Against Humanity + 4 expansions, Chaos in the Old World + expansion, Dixit, Love Letter, Munchkin, Pit, Power Grid, Puerto Rico, Race for the Galaxy, Set, Settlers of Catan, Slide 5, Ticket to Ride

Note on food:
If you wish to bring something that needs reheating, let me know and I can probably accommodate that. Please don't bring anything that you aren't willing to take home with you if it doesn't get finished.

Also running late, but I don't have a cool excuse about stranded dogs. :P

Ugh, not gonna make it. I was asked to consult on an urgent issue at work, and "consult" has turned into "fix". Have fun ladies!

I found some Korean rice crackers and got my second wind! Incoming.:-)

Running late. Making an "emergency potty break" visit for some dogs whose people are stranded before coming over

Hey folks, my wallet and phone were stolen last night in SF so I don't have a lot of options now for what to bring. I may end up bouncing because it's been a LONG weekend! ^_^

However, I'll at least look around the kitchen and am open to suggestions...

Oh wow! That really, really sucks! :( My sympathies! I'm not coming myself, but maybe your kitchen has some bread and other goodies you can use to make some tea sandwiches?

That's awful! I totally get it if you don't want to deal with anything else this weekend, but if you want to come game with us there's no need to bring anything.

I'm looking forward to meeting you all, but I'm still trying to figure out what to bring for my dish. Any opinions on a fruit tray vs. eclairs?

Fruit since I ate all my calories for the week at Holder's last night with their brownie sundae :/ lol

Mm, that sundae sounds good. I can definitely bring fruit.

I like spicy, but only some Japanese curry. Not sure what I'm bringing just yet.

I'm thinking of making/bringing either Japanese-style curry, or onigiri. Depending on what I make, I wanted to ask...

    1) How do most people feel about spicy vs. mild food?
    2) If you like onigiri, are there any fillings in particular that you like?

    July 30

    • Rachael

Personally, I vote onigiri. I'm not a huge fan of Japanese curry.
My favorites are konbu, mentaiko, umeboshi, and kinpira. Plus there's this seaweed paste you can buy in jars that's awesome in onigiri - I always buy the wasabi flavor.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
