Food and drink

Bar open from 18.00 until 22.00

Grab a tasty meatball parmigiana ciabatta, courgette, feta and mint fritters on flat bread, salads and more from our Central Hall menu. Then enjoy a selection of good quality wines, beers and ciders from the bar.

The food is really good, but not cheap, you won't get much for under a tenner so if you don't want to spend that, bring a sandwich.

Please note that drinks and food cannot be taken into the exhibitions and the Dinosaur gallery.

More info at the NHM After Hours page.

6pm - We will meet in the main cafeteria (not restaurant) behind the main huge central stairs, between 6pm and 6.45pm. Vlad will have a Meetup sign. (See photo section for map.)

7.00pm - Vlad is going to the Britain: One Million Years of the Human Story at 7pm. Tickets from:
Unfortunately the Emotional Evolution Discussion is now sold out. :-(

Other splinter groups may go to dinosaurs, creepy crawlies or mammals gallery.

In our experience, its best if we all go off in smal groups, always leaving a few people at 'base camp'. This means it's easier to collect later arrivals and sometimes people just want to stay sitting, drinking, eating, listening to the live music and chatting for the evening and that's cool too.

9.00pm - Vlad will meet back at the cafeteria at 9.00pm for a final gathering together, and will remain there until 10.00pm

Vlad will email or post his number below at the latest the day before the event.

I'm running a bit late. I'll probably only get there at about 6:55 pm. I'll head over to the main restaurant first (I haven't been there but hopefully will find it quickly) when I arrive. See you soon!

Hi everyone, sorry about the unpleasantness below. I think it's important not to censor people, so I'm not deleting the thread, but maybe Saj will, in which case if you haven't read it, you've missed some good drama. Anyway, I just wanted to say that, as many of you know, Vlad is an incredible host who goes out of his way to email people, makes sure his number is available and answers all individuals questions. He is amazing and thank you for everything you do for this group, Vlad! I hope you all have a wonderful time tomorrow - the timetable and locations of meeting up are posted above and Vlad has also answered comments below to further clarify where you can find the group on the night. Also, if you can't find the group, you can call or text Vlad on the night on[masked]

I don't think you will be able to both exhibitions and socialise around the table within 4 hours. Well not unless you rush anyway!

Who else wants to come to this exhibition?

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
