The National Zoo Two!
The Zoo Two? It's true! It's fun for you and your little kids too!
Yes indeed, it's Scavenger Hunt time! Are you ready to put your zoological skills to the test? Are you in tune with your species? Your genus? How about your family, order, class, and phylum? Do you like cute pandas, smelly monkeys, and turtles? Well, if you answered yes to any of those, then this is the hunt for you!
The format remains the same. Attendees will be broken up into multiple teams who will then have two hours to solve as many riddles, clues, and quirky challenges as possible. Each answer will need to have a cellphone photograph that includes at least one team member sent via text to the hunt master for approval. At the end of the two hours, the team with the most correct answers wins.
The hunt will take place within the boundaries of the National Zoo and will require a bit of walking. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes and clothing.
P.S - We will grab food and drinks afterwards for some fun socializing!
--- MEETUP INFORMATION ---
LOCATION: We will meet just inside of the zoo at the Connecticut Avenue entrance (the main entrance) of the zoo. Look for either a sign or a large group of people.
TRAVEL: I highly recommend taking the Metro. You can walk to the zoo from either the Cleveland Park or the Woodley Park-Zoo/Adams Morgan stops on the Red Line. If you wish to drive, you can find parking in the neighborhoods near the zoo, but be sure to read the parking signs to avoid being towed. Note, parking at the zoo is expensive.
CONTACT: My phone number is (301) 758-1144. Please do not hesitate to call/text me with any questions or concerns.
REMINDER: The Zoo is free. Yay!
