I enjoyed meeting all of you tonight, and I thoroughly enjoyed the event and I'm hoping I'll make it to trivia on Sunday night.

My iphone was stolen about an hour ago, so I'm not the best company right now - I'll catch you guys next week. :/

    MAN DOWN! Feel better Morgan!

Sadly I'm not going to be able to make it. I'm coming down with some sort of plague, and I don't want to infect other geeks.

  • Carrie

I'll have you know last time I was out front on time with a sign after getting my pre-game on.

There's always a chance she will, instead, be in the bar next to Black Cat getting her pre-game on..

re: large group of geeks. We'll be having dinner later, so i assure you there won't be any chicken heads scattered about (maybe). Well, unless one of us is feeling a bit "peckish" (too soon for bad puns?).

Carrie theoretically will be out front around 6:45 with a meetup sign. Or you can just look for the large group of geeks.

I'm interested in joining! How do people find each other at Black Cat?

Duken isn't that scary--forks + white napkins. For the unadventurous, there are regular samosas (puff pasty w/ filling) on the menu. P.S. The honey wine is amazing.

how about we do this - those that are timid on the food go to Alero (your typical mexican) - the rest go to dukem. We meet at Alero for drinks after. Everyone will have my cell phone so I can coordinate.

    May 10, 2012

Dukem is amazing, although Ethiopian can be a bit intimidating at first glance. So to clarify...where's dinner? :P. Looking forward to meeting you guys - the science festival was a cluster and I got there late.

I've never been to any of the above- well, excepting black & orange (which left me a a bit underwhelmed).

    May 8, 2012

  • Carrie

I made reservations at Alero as well - they're typical tex-mex, Utopia, Bar Pilar, Masa 14 (have to call and see if they have reservations) but Masa looks mostly packed. I'll try Utopia (creole/southern) tomorrow.

    May 8, 2012

  • Carrie

again we can always grab burgers and then hit up the bars after.

    May 8, 2012

  • Ken O.

is ethiopian going to try to kill michelle? :/

    May 8, 2012

  • Carrie

I've only had ethiopian once, but I LOVED it. I'll trust Ken on this one!

I made reservations for Ethiopian - but if people have issues let me know - there's always Orange burger and pigging out at bens chili bowl. :)

Eatonville is booked - something about people caring about their mothers or something - but I will plan an event there in the immediate future. Looking for different spots (Alero's service sucks but is a last resort).

    May 7, 2012

  • Carrie

If Everyone is comfortable with the prcies at Eatonville: http://eatonvillerestaurant.com/index-1.html#dinnermenu we can go there.

    May 7, 2012

  • Carrie
