Where's a good place to host these gatherings?

Bars downtown Iowa City, where i can walk/bike home from. Outdoor seating a plus. Old Capitol Brew Works, The Mill, Gabe's, Martini's. Also Trumpet Blossom Cafe (by 30th century bikes) is usually abandoned and has outdoor seating, but I've never been there.
