Geekeasy is a relaxed gathering of geeky/techy/creative types in Derby, who have an interest in learning and perhaps working together. It's very friendly, and you'll find an interesting mix of people to talk to.
Geek Speak (around 6.30pm): We'll hear from Dr Catrin Rutland, lecturer in anatomy and developmental genetics at The University of Nottingham, about genetics.
After the talk we'll carry on chatting, drinking and chowing down on samosas. Invite a friend, and help spread the geeky word!
All types of geek are welcome: creative, technical, digital, engineering, science, space, web, design, chic geeks and even non-geeks.
