Storytelling as a Professional Skill by Shinji Kuwayama

Our jobs require us to be persuasive. As engineers, we persuade our teammates to adopt an architecture. As designers, we convince customers to buy a product. As managers, we persuade our teams to adopt definitive priorities. As entrepreneurs, we convince people to join our vision. And as engineers, we start with logic and reason. But how do we use narrative (story-telling) go above and beyond? To trigger passion?

You can find Shinji at @shinjikuwayama, but it's mostly Hill Street Blues references.

I wish I could make it, unfortunately I'm not going to be able to today. The day seems to have gotten away from me.
