Celebrating FIFTY YEARS of Doctor WHO...

For all you truly hardcore nerds out there

(you know WHO you are!),

experience the magic

from its inception,

Classic to Present:

From 1963 to...

Well, as long as it takes!!!

Once a month,

we will gather together

in solemn,

sacred sanctimony,

to honor this great and powerful being from across the stars,

for the countless times he's saved the lives of every living creature on this wretched planet.

Now, yes, it's true that some of them are more or less radio broadcasts,

but this should be no deterrent to the truly hearty.

So, please bring something to share,

wear your favorite 12 ft scarf, 3D glasses, bowtie or fez,
(Prize for the best costume!)

and prepare to hunker down and absorb a piece of history!

Performing pickup at Papa Murphy': pepperoni pizza, cheesy bread, chocolate chip cookie dough, and an undetermined type of CO2-infused sweet liquid. Any suggestions?

It looks like there are spots left, but it's the day before... I assume that the address has already gone out? Is it too late to sign up?

When did the first sonic screwdriver show up?

I got curious about this so I looked it up. The sonic screwdriver was first used by the second Doctor in "Fury from the Deep", the sixth serial of the fifth season in 1968.

It was the "lost video" slide show, based on the surviving audio and production stills of the Marco Polo episode(s). The stills may have been hand-colored, IIRC.

Apparently the videotape was so expensive in those days, they recorded over the master tapes after airing them, so no videos remain for these episodes.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
